Boat has been working as a party dj extraordinaire for years, spinning everything from hiphop to hardrock for invariably enthused crowds.

As a deejay and a music producer, his focus is on many different styles, always creating one sound with a definite rock’n’roll attitude… As a skilled guitar player, he already contributed to several hiphop studio sessions, improvisation jams with turntablists and live funkrock bands.

DJ Boat plays different genres of music, ‘eclectic freestyle’, or breakbeats in the broadest sense: funk, soul, jazz, rare grooves & breaks, (ol’skool) party hiphop, electro-hiphop, ‘90s boombap, dancehall, (hip)house, rave, jungle, d’n’b, dubstep, digidub and electronics; but also party anthems, dance, discofunk, rock, afrobeat and soundtrackstuff.
